In Dar es Salaam, during World Diabetes Day, November 2023, Aniceth Muchunguzi, Lucy Lyimo and George Kwayu were invited by EFM Radio to talk on Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus in Tanzanian children and young people. As leaders of TDYA who are living with T1DM they covered topics such as bringing awareness to the Tanzanian population on problems faced by young people in schools, at home and in the community in general.
