• Our objective is to visit all schools where a T1DM young person is attending. TDYA leaders, healthcare professionals, and peer-to-peer educators visit schools throughout Dar es Salaam and bring awareness of T1DM to staff and students.
• Education material is prepared and presented to the school.
• Our aim is to assist clinics in other regions of Tanzania to educate schools in their area.
