TDYA has, for the purpose of training leaders, set all 38 T1DM clinics into 8 Zones. In November 2021 the Northern Zone training camp was conducted at Weruweru Lodge Hotel, Moshi, followed by the Western Zone camp in March at Hilltop Hotel Kigoma. Two key activities during the camps were the training of the T1D leaders to organise school visits and speak clearly and precisely on T1D during TV and Radio programs.
